Insurance: it is compulsory to have travel insurance / medical cover;
Trip deposit is non-refundable Air ticket price are separate from safari trip The Airline company Kenya airways / Air France / KLM or BA are independent from the safari,
Airline tickets are non-refundable but if you cancel on medical grounds then your insurance may cover the fare but you will need to handle and contact the airline company and your insurance company yourself, Dean Bricknell is not liable for any loss of cost,
All safari payments are made through a registered travel tour operators here in the UK, your payment is covered by there financial protection, i would advise that soon as your flights are booked you should obtain your travel insurance, your flights should be covered by your own travel insurance (depending on type of insurance you buy).
At any time, if you cancel your booking you will lose 100% of your flight, (flight tickets are not ordered until tour places are full and flight bookings are open which is around 12 months before trip date ) you may be able to claim back from the airline company under medical grounds If you cancel your holiday You may cancel your booking provided that you make the cancellation in writing; cancellation takes effect from the date that i receive your written notification which i will then pass on to the relevant travel company.
If flights have been booked they will incur a cancellation charge of 100%. The cancellation charge for your other holiday components will depend on when you cancelled and is shown below as a percentage of the component price.
All deposits are non-refundable
If you cancel your booking at any time a £500 cancelation fee will apply
Cancellation notice given:
• more than 1 year before departure date deposit only + flights (admin charges will apply)
• 5 months or less than 5 months 100% of full price + flights no refund will be offered
• The above is designed and laid out due to group booking, any cancelation will affect every other person and would result in a complete cancelation of the trip and rebooked which will increases the price of the trip as a new booking.
If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges. If we change or cancel your holiday It is unlikely we will have to change or cancel your booking after it has been confirmed. However, as arrangements are often made many months in advance and i have no direct control over some of the products i feature, i reserve the right to change or cancel your booking or a component of your booking at any time.
Most changes are minor and i will advise you of these as soon as possible. Minor changes include a change of accommodation to another of the same standard, changes to carriers, aircraft types or alterations to flight times by less than 12 hours. Major changes include a change of accommodation to a lower standard or to a different resort than booked or cancellation of a tour by our supplier because of insufficient numbers or any other reason.
In the most unlikely circumstance that the trip is cancelled completely a full refund will be given this does not include your flights you will have to claim the cost of your flights back from your own travel insurance if covered.
